The CH22 armchair is a design by Hans J. Wegner from 1950.
The CH22 chair is available in solid oak and walnut as well as in a combination of these woods with various finishes.
The combination CH22 version has the frame in oak, and the arm and backrest in walnut.
The seat is available in natural or black paper cord.
The back shell design features oblong cover caps on each side, either made using the same wood as the frame or a striking contrast color.
You can choose oak or walnut wood covers as desired.
With the CH22 chair in oak finished with soap, the cover plates are always in oak.

Wegner's CH22 lounge chair is part of a debut four-chair collection which also included design icons such as CH24,
better known as the Wishbone Chair, which has become a design classic around the world.

The CH22 lounge chair has been produced in exact accordance with Wegner's original sketches, and unites
simplicity with absolute comfort.

The low lounge chair is made of solid wood with a distinctive form-pressed veneer back with an organic shape.
Wegner has focused on sublime craftsmanship, as evident in the woven seat and the refined and ingenious joints,
which are structural and ornamental at the same time, a classic Wegner trait.
