AJ Table Lamp Mini | Louis Poulsen

The AJ table lamp Mini is the small version of the original Arne Jacobsen table lamp by Louis Poulsen with a beautiful finish in 10 colours.
The fixture of the AJ desk lamp emits downward directed light. The angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimize light distribution.
The shade is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light. When the lamp shade is tilted down,
the lower edge runs horizontally.
With a bright light bulb or LED lamp, the light is optimally utilized and the light beams are accurately defined.
The lamp is quite deep in the hood, so you do not look directly into the light source.
 
Five new colour variants were introduced in connection with the 50th anniversary of the launch of the AJ family in 2017.
These colours have been carefully chosen in line with an updated Arne Jacobsen colour scheme.
The AJ lamps are, next tot the stainless steel version, available with a paint in finish: White, Black, Aubergine, Dark Green, Dark Grey,
Light Grey, Midnight Blue, Pale Petroleum, Rusty Red, Yellow Ochre, wet painted.
The white AJ table lamp is supplied with a white cable. The other colors are supplied with a black cable.

The AJ Table Lamp was, like a large number of other lighting fixtures by Arne Jacobsen,
designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen.
The foot of the AJ desk lamp was originally intended as an ashtray container, but now has only a design function.
The distinctive asymmetrical design and quality of the Arne Jacobsen design make the AJ lamp a modern design classic.
