Barboy | Verpan

The Verpan Barboy is a design from 1963 by the well-known Danish designer Verner Panton.
The beautiful trolley consists of three separate elements that can be opened and closed along a central point.
At the time, the Barboy was intended by Panton as a mobile mini bar, but the trolley has so many more options.
After all, it is very practical with its storage space and wheels, and stylish in almost any interior due to its timeless design.
For example, use it as a nightstand next to your bed, as a key / storage space in the hall,
handy cupboard in the bathroom, kitchen or in your office.
Of course it can hold a lot of bottles and glasses so that it can still serve as a mobile bar.
You usually see it as a side table in your living room with, for example, a light on it, magazines, glasses and phone in it.
The compartments are different in height and are all easily accessible because they rotate very smoothly.

The Barboy Trolley is made of matt lacquered MDF and is available in black, white, blue and orange.
Barboy is a typical example of Panton’s furniture, in which he combines a matt surface with a shiny chrome handle and wheels, investing the piece with an elegant contrast.
The refined metal handle has the engraved signature of Verner Panton. In addition, the trolley is fitted with beautiful chrome wheels as standard. However, this limits the freedom of movement.
If desired, plastic wheels can be ordered.
The Verpan Barboy comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The designer Verner Panton

Verner Panton (1926-1998) was an inspirational and colourful personality. A unique person with a special sense of colours, shapes, light function and room.
Over the course of his career, Verner Panton introduced a series of modern lamps with personalities unlike any of his Scandinavian contemporaries.
With a remarkable faith in the unlimited possibilities of the form, he worked successfully to create a new set of theories about how lighting should work and how it should influence its surrounding.
