The BA002S Preludia Chair with upholstered seat and steel legs by Brad Ascalon offers comfort and style. The soft seating comes in many color options and an interesting combination of materials. The design is as beautiful as it is innovative, and forms part of the minimalist Preludia Series that includes more crafted chair and table options.
The Preludia series has won the Mixology Award 2019 for best Task Furniture.

The BA002T Preludia chair is available in beech, oak or walnut.
The legs come in chrome or steel with a black or white powder coating.

Variations

Carl Hansen & Son releases three Preludia chairs in addition to the BA002:
The BA001 with wooden frame, whereby the wood of the seat / back and the frame is available in a combination of your choice.
The BA003 cantilever chair. Instead of four legs, a metal carriage frame is mounted in chrome or powder-coated steel.
The BA004 bar chair also has a sled frame and a footrest. The backrest is lowered.

All Preludia chairs can be fitted with a fixed cushion in fabric or leather or fully upholstered. Upholstery is available in four qualities of Kvadrat or Gabriel textile, or three leather groups.
The chairs can be stacked up to 18 pieces, making the Preludia chairs very suitable for large projects. Moreover, a dolly is available with which the stacks can easily be moved.

Brad Ascalon is an American designer born in 1977. He entered the art and design world at a young age. His grandfather, a sculptor and industrial designer, and his father, a renowned artist, encouraged a passion for design, craftsmanship and materials that would last.
