EOOS designed the E004 Embrace Chair for superior comfort at the table. The chair consists of a continuously visible
wooden structure with a round back and characteristic legs that contribute to the overall frame.
The seat and back are made in one piece that is mounted on the wooden frame.
The side of the cushion is finished with a fabric strip in five colours: white, natural, black, brown or blue.

The Embrace dining chair has more comfort thanks to the improved padding in the cushions and a seat
which offers the ultimate relaxation experience.
The E004 Embrace Chair has no armrests but is also available with armrests. For this, look at the E005 Embrace Chair.

The Embrace Chair is available in 4 textile categories and 3 different leather groups. North Sea Design has
all fabric and leather samples in all available colors in the store in Vorden.

The E004 with blue upholstery has an oak frame, treated with white oil. With Gabriel textile: Mood 03103.
The E004 with grey upholstery has a walnut wood frame, treated with oil. With Kvadrat textile: Clara 144.
The bE004 in leather has a black lacquered oak frame where the wood grain remains visible. The dark blue leather upholstery is Thor 350.

EOOS for Carl Hansen & Son

The Austrian design collective EOOS was founded in 1995 in Vienna by Martin Bergmann, Gernot Bohmann
and Harald Gründl. This trio studies historical knowledge in a contemporary context using a unique process called
Poetic Analysis to shape the designs.
Their method focuses on myths, rituals and intuitive expressions to make connections beyond the original observations.
EOOS sees design as a poetic discipline and believes that with their end products they should be able
to respond to changing needs and desires.
