For added comfort, the cushions can be fitted with an extra layer of down. And, of course, a footstool is also available.

Carl Hansen & Søn sets the tone for relaxed conversation by including the CH290 series of seating furniture from the extensive Hans J. Wegner collection.
Designed in 1962, the series features the familiar Wegner hallmarks with carefully crafted details. Dynamic angled legs and generous armrests reflect classic features
of Wegner's earlier designs. The series is a feast for the eyes from every angle and complements easily other pieces from the Wegner collection by Carl Hansen & Søn.
The CH290 armchair is available with a low or high backrest.

Materials |
The CH290 lounge chair by Carl Hansen & Søn is available in solid oak. The frame is optionally treated with lacquer, natural or white oil, soap, or spray-painted black.
The cushions are filled with cold foam and optionally available with a European down top. They are upholstered in fabric or leather.

GE290 Getama

This series of lounge chairs and sofas was previously produced by Getama in Denmark. North Sea Design was a Getama dealer, but that brand was acquired by Carl Hansen & Søn.
The Getama brand no longer exists as an active furniture manufacturer.
Getama has a long history of producing furniture by Hans J. Wegner, among others. You can contact North Sea Design with questions about, for example, new cushions
for your old Getama armchairs and sofas.
