Originally designed in 1952, the FJ Essence tableware never went into production due to the complexity of its porcelain shape.
After 60 years, ARCHITECTMADE rediscovered the original drawings and brought the FJ Essence to life.
Each piece is hand-glazed and true to the original design.

Artistic Vision of Finn Juhl

Finn Juhl was one of the most successful Danish architects internationally in the 1950s. Known for his bold,
sculptural forms and refined detailing, Juhl entered the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Architecture in Copenhagen in 1930
without prior craftsmanship experience. His visionary designs balance sculptural elegance with functionality.

Juhl’s work energized traditional Danish design, exemplifying quality, craftsmanship, and beauty that helped Denmark
lead modern home furnishings in the 1940s and 50s. His influence continues to inspire generations of Scandinavian design.
