The Omaggio vases by Kähler are made of white Faience ceramic, decorated with the characteristic stripes.
Faience is a type of pottery that is glazed with an opaque white layer.

Since 1839 all Kähler ceramics have been traditionally made by hand, each vase is unique due to this special charm of craftsmanship.

The Kähler Omaggio series

The Omaggio series from Kähler Design was designed by the Danish designers Ditte Reckweg
and Jelena Schou Nordentoft from Design Studio Stilleben.
The Scarlet Omaggio vase H12,5 has been popular since its design in 2019.
In addition to the design studio, they have a shop in the Danish design capital Copenhagen, called Stilleben.

The designers graduated in design and ceramics from the Danish Design School, they make modern Scandinavian home accessories,
influenced by the Danish design tradition.
Various ceramic accessories that summarize Stilleben's design philosophy were created through the collaboration
with the traditional company Kähler.
At Kähler, the experience of classic handicraft is reinterpreted from a contemporary perspective.
The result is exciting new ceramics with a timeless and individual character.
