The Pan 38 wall lamp is part of LYFA’s iconic PAN lighting series by Bent Karlby. Its characteristic exposed
tubular shades — inspired by the pipes of a pan flute — create a sculptural, rhythmic expression on the wall.
With its updated anodized aluminium surfaces and refined construction, the Pan 38 offers a clean, contemporary look
while delivering soft, atmospheric lighting.

Design & Light

The Pan 38 emits a gentle up‑ and downlight through its dual open tubes, creating a warm, inviting glow.
The design hides the light source while allowing the light to diffuse beautifully along the aluminium surfaces.
Perfect for hallways, living rooms, bedrooms, or hospitality spaces where architectural lighting and ambience matter.

Karlby’s original 1970s design was influenced by Pop Art, originally featuring colourful interiors.
Today’s monochrome anodized finish gives the lamp a timeless, modern character.

Light Quality of the PAN Lighting

The open tubular design of the PAN lamp allows diffused light to illuminate the aluminium body while completely hiding the light source.
