This Marimekko Christmas ornament is a true collector's item. It's made of ceramic with a pink glaze and features the Unikko flower in gold pigment.
The ornament has a beautiful red ribbon for hanging, and on the bottom, you'll find a Marimekko stamp with the year of production.

Marimekko Unniko Pattern

When Marimekko's founder Armi Ratia banned flower patterns, Maija Isola rebelled. She was was fascinated by the theme
of flowers and decided to create a complete collection of graphic, pop-art-inspired floral fabrics.
Among them the famous poppy flower pattern Unikko (1964), which has been continuously printed since its launch.
