This beautiful Marimekko wool and cotton blend blanket with fringes at the ends is sure to keep you warm this winter.
Decorated with the classic black and white Unikko pattern, the blanket has two different sides,
with the backside being a clever color negative of the front.
This product was designed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Finland's independence.

Marimekko Unniko Pattern

When Marimekko's founder Armi Ratia banned flower patterns, Maija Isola rebelled. She was was fascinated by the theme
of flowers and decided to create a complete collection of graphic, pop-art-inspired floral fabrics.
Among them the famous poppy flower pattern Unikko (1964), which has been continuously printed since its launch.
