The Verpan 430 chair is a true Verner Panton classic from 1967. The designer was looking for a simple design
with the comfort of an armchair. He did this by applying traditional webbing under the fully upholstered seat
so that it adapts to body weight. He designed a wide and beautifully upholstered backrest and placed it on a slim elegant frame.
The material contrast of the slim metal legs with the fully upholstered, seat and backrest
makes the chair from the 430 series a unique piece of furniture.
So the chair of the 430 series is not only very beautiful to look at, but also comfortable.
Furthermore, the chair is stackable and the legs are fitted with felt floor glides.

Verner Panton (1926 - 1998) is regarded as one of Denmark's most influential 20th-century furniture and interior designers.
He was trained by the well-known Danish furniture designer and architect, Arne Jacobsen.
During his career he designed innovative and futuristic furniture in a wide range of materials, especially plastics
and in bright colors. Because of this deviant style, Verner Panton is also known as the "Enfant terrible of Danish Design".
This style reflected the spirit of the sixties and has been popular again since the end of the twentieth century.
Verpan has the license of many of his beautiful designs such as the Globe pendant lamp, the Barboy trolley, the System 123 chair
and the Cloverleaf of Welle lounge series.
North Sea Design is an official dealer for Verpan, the Danish furniture and lighting manufacturer dedicated to the work of Danish design icon, Verner Panton.
