The FJ Pattern textile series by Architectmade brings to life the ingenious patterns created by Finn Juhl in 1954.
Working with watercolours, Juhl developed his own distinctive combinations of colours and graphic compositions.
His bold use of pattern became a defining element in both his architectural and furniture design,
creating subtle contrasts
and harmonious atmospheres that make people feel at ease. With this unique cushion collection, Architectmade translates Juhl’s
exceptional sense of shape and colour into contemporary textiles for the home.
The cushions are woven from soft organic cotton, offering a pleasant tactile feel and a refined expression. Each cushion features:
• An almost invisible zipper
• A discreet “Finn Juhl Architectmade” side tag
• A hypoallergenic inner cushion from Fossflakes Nordic Sleep
Available in Grey and Blue, the FJ Pattern cushions come in two shapes:
• 50 × 50 cm (square)
• 60 × 40 cm (rectangular)
To maintain the texture and shape of the FJ Pattern textiles:
• Dry clean only
• Washing with water may alter the form
• If reshaping is needed, use a steam iron on low heat

Finn Juhl was born in 1912. He graduated the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and became one of the most acclaimed Danish
