Rug Criss In- and Outdoor

Pappelina Criss Rug

The Criss rug by Pappelina is a modern interpretation of the classic check pattern: graphic, textured and with a distinct character.
The evenly outlined squares create a subtle sense of depth and balance,
making the rug immediately stand out in every room.

Depending on the chosen color, Criss is finished with a contrasting or tone-on-tone hem – a refined detail
that underscores the artisanal quality of Pappelina.
And for those who like variety: Criss is double-sided, so it is easy to flip for a different look.

Design & Material

Criss is an example of the high quality that makes Pappelina loved worldwide.
Each rug is woven in Sweden on traditional looms, using environmentally produced PVC ribbon.

• Soft and comfortable , even barefoot
• Hygienic & non-absorbent – does not trap dust, ideal for allergies
• Strong, durable & colorfast
• Relatively heavy , so it hardly shifts
• Easy to clean with water; can even go in the washing machine.
• Double-sided for two different looks

Please note: due to the artisanal production process, dimensions may vary by ± 4%.

Suitable for both indoors and outdoors

A Pappelina rug is perfectly suitable for outdoor use. The rugs are UV-resistant; after years of sunlight, colors may fade slightly (especially black and red).
Important tips:

• Let the rug dry completely from time to time.
• Only bring the rug inside in winter when it is completely dry.
• In a warm greenhouse, the structure can change over time.

About Pappelina – Swedish Craftsmanship since 1948

Pappelina designs and produces all its interior products entirely in-house. The synthetic rugs
are woven in the original weaving mill in Leksand, Dalarna, where traditional techniques are combined
with modern innovation. No mass production, no containers from Asia – every rug is made based on demand,
with attention to detail and sustainability. Pappelina even offers a 3-year warranty on its rugs.
