Designers have often inspired their lamps by the snake, but there is only one Cobra, the Cobra by Elio Martinelli!
This iconic table lamp from 1968 provides light all around and, thanks to its solid shape, always retains the effect of the snake
which floats stably around its body with its head.
As a design classic, the Cobra desk lamp by Martinelli Luce has been visible in various interiors for over half a century.
This table lamp can therefore count on continues interest.
In 2018, the fiftieth anniversary was extensively celebrated with special versions. In addition to the colors black and white, the Cobra table lamp
is now also available in fiery red.

The Cobra desk lamp stands on a firmly weighted base and is a full light source in all directions. Nice to read or work with,
nice to create atmosphere. And off, the Cobra is a beautiful organic, dynamic and spicy object.

The Cobra is cast in two parts with a single material, thermosetting resin. The result is a solid, sturdy lamp.
This beautiful desk lamp is available in radiant white, glossy black or bright red, the special edition released in honor of the fiftieth anniversary
of the Cobra.

The inspiration of Elio Martinelli

Simplicity, pure geometric shapes, but above all, nature gave the elements that inspired Elio Martinelli in his creations.
Martinelli was innovative in his designs and use of materials.
The Cobra and Serptente are perfect examples.
Designs by Martinelli Luce are included in museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of art New York, Musee des Arts Decoratifs Montreal and
Museum of Art Philadelphia.
