CH20 Elbow Chair by Hans Wegner

The oak CH20 Elbow Chair is a great example of how Wegner was ahead of his time when designing wooden furniture.
This CH20 dining room chair was too complicated for the production techniques of its time. Therefore,
only one prototype was made. The chair was first re-manufactured in 2005 and awarded the ICFF Editors Award in New York.

The unique seat, which seems to float above the legs, is made of 11-layer laminate and offers exceptional stability without the use
of support slats. The characteristic rounded backrest is made of 1 piece of solid wood and creates multiple seating positions.
The backrest provides good support for the arms, which is why the CH20 was nicknamed The Elbow Chair. This ensures better seating comfort
so you can dine for a long time.
The CH20 is stackable up to a maximum height of 4 chairs. However, prolonged stacking is not recommended as it may cause deformation
of the covering.

The Elbow chair is a light dining chair that takes up little space around the dining table.
Due to the many round shapes, this chair is easy to combine with for example the CH338, CH002 & CH006.

The CH20 comes with a solid frame in beech or oak with various finishing options.
There are many options to choose from for the upholstery. Beautiful quality fabrics from Kvadrat or Gabriel and leather from Sørensen.
