CH33P Dining chair | Carl Hansen & Søn

The CH33 is characteristic of the work of Hans Wegner. Solid wood and solid connections are applied in such a way,
that it gives the chair a light appearance. The chair in beech or oak has a contemporary look despite the references to
the simple lines of the 50s and 60s.
The CH33P is the fabric or leather-covered variant of the CH33 with textiles in 4 quality groups and 3 types of leather.
It is a very light, graceful chair that functions as a dining room chair or as a
sculptural addition to almost any room.
Every part of the chair has round, organic shapes. The tapered legs and cross connections are the thickest
they have to bear the weight, becoming more graceful and sleek where the design allows it.
The slightly splayed legs ensure a very robust construction and stability, but at the same time give a visually light image.
The connections between the hind legs and the backrest are visibly classic examples of Hans J. Wegner's predilection for a
honest design that points to craftsmanship.

Materials |
The frame is made of solid oak available with finishes in soap, oil, transparent lacquer or sprayed in black.
A solid beech frame is also available, with the finishes soap, lacquer, oil and white oil or sprayed black with the wood grains
remain visible. A walnut frame comes oiled or laqcuered.
