CH33T Oak | Carl Hansen & Son

The iconic CH33T is a typical example of the Danish mid-century design of the 50s and 60s. Hans J. Wegner designed this
dining chair in 1957, during a period in which he added several design classics to his name. The organic shapes
are characteristic of the Danish design of that period.
The CH33 represents many typical aspects of Hans J. Wegner's best designs. It is a very light, graceful chair
with great attraction. Every part of the chair has round, organic shapes. The tapered legs and the cross connections
are shaped in such a way that gracefulness and strength go together perfectly.
The slightly spread legs ensure a very robust construction and stability, but gives it a visually light image at the same time.
The connections between the hind legs and the backrest are visible examples of Hans J. Wegner's craftsmanship.

Materials |
This oak variant of the CH33T has a solid frame and a laminated seat and back.
The chair is optionally treated with soap, lacquer, oil, white oil or is spraypanted in black.
Painted in black, the wood structure will be visible.

In addition to this oak version of the CH33T, the chair is also available in beech or a mixed oak/ walnut version.
